Hyderabad: BRS working president and Sircilla MLA K. T. Rama Rao spoke emotionally about his KTR Sircilla connection, saying Telangana was his identity and Sircilla his community. He credited the people of Sircilla and BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao for helping him reach his current position.

Recalling his political journey, KTR said he would never forget the people who supported him. He added that public blessings and KCR’s encouragement had helped him rise to this level. Moreover, he said he believed in helping others rather than causing harm to anyone.

KTR Sircilla connection reflects family ties to Srigadha

KTR made the remarks during a meeting with residents of Srigadha village in Gambhiraopet mandal at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday. During the interaction, he spoke emotionally about his family’s long-standing association with the village.

He recalled that Pochampally, his grandmother’s village, lay across from Srigadha. However, the Upper Manair project submerged Pochampally. He also pointed out that some people bearing his family surname still lived in Srigadha.

The village’s links to his family brought back memories, KTR said. Meanwhile, he reiterated his gratitude to Sircilla’s people for supporting his political growth. He said he would always remember their contribution to his journey and reaffirmed his lasting connection with the region.
