Hyderabad: The Telangana Hajj Committee will hold Telangana’s first Hajj training camp for intending Hajj pilgrims on January 25, 2026, in Hyderabad, officials said.
The Haj training camp will run from 10 am to 5 pm at Hi-Tech Garden Function Hall and A1 Palace Function Hall near Golnaka New Bridge in Moosarambagh, Old Malakpet. Officials expect more than 4,000 pilgrims to attend the programme.
The Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Telangana, is organising the Hajj training camp as part of Hajj preparations. During the sessions, officials will explain Hajj rituals, travel procedures, and administrative requirements.
Hajj training camp inauguration scheduled at 10.30 am
Mohammed Azharuddin, Minister for Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises, will inaugurate the Hajj training camp at 10.30 am. Syed Gulam Afzal Biabani, Chairman of the Telangana State Hajj Committee, will attend the programme with other dignitaries.
In addition, an Advisor to the Telangana government will attend the event. Several MLAs and MLCs will take part in the programme. Senior bureaucrats will also attend, officials said.
Officials said the training camp will provide practical guidance to pilgrims. Trainers will cover health precautions, travel schedules, accommodation arrangements, and Hajj regulations for the 2026 season.
