Hyderabad: Telangana will see two parallel youth-focused events on July 26 aimed at boosting political and civic leadership among students and young professionals. Telangana Jagruthi, led by MLC K. Kavitha, will host a leadership training session in Kompally, while the BRS student wing will convene its state-level meeting in Nacharam.
Telangana Jagruthi’s event, scheduled at Sri Convention in Kompally, will focus on equipping young men and women with leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. The programme will also offer sessions on Telangana’s political history, culture, and governance.
Kavitha has emphasised the need for women and youth to step into leadership roles to drive change in Telangana’s socio-political fabric. Organisers say the training will act as a platform to build awareness, communication capability, and a sense of civic responsibility.
On the same day, the student wing of the BRS is gearing up for its state conference at the VNR Convention Centre in Nacharam, with senior leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao expected to headline the event.
Organizers say the gathering is aimed at getting students to think beyond campus toward real-world issues, political involvement, and their role in shaping the state’s future. The agenda includes panel discussions on education, jobs, and social justice, with a special focus on student-driven ideas and innovations.
