Telangana govt invites applications for Germany placements through TOMCOM

Hyderabad: The Telangana government invited applications for Germany placements through the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM). The initiative aimed to provide overseas employment to qualified, skilled and semi-skilled workers from the State.

The recruitment drive was taken up by Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited under the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Factories. According to an official press note issued on January 19, the programme focused on placing eligible candidates in Germany. The drive mainly targeted workers with experience in transmission line-related jobs.

Germany placements for transmission line technicians

Under the notification, Germany-based agencies sought Transmission Line Technicians – 1 and Transmission Line Technicians – 3. Applicants are required to have at least two to three years of experience in transmission line work. In addition, candidates needed good communication skills in English.
