Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday announced that the Telangana government will organise state-level celebrations to mark the centenary of Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba. He also assured government support for the activities of the Satya Sai Baba Trust within the state.
Revanth Reddy made the announcement during the divine centenary celebrations held in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, where he addressed a large gathering and extended greetings to devotees. He described his participation as both a rare opportunity and an honour.
“Baba is an inspiration to millions even after leaving for the heavenly abode. He competed with governments in providing free education from KG to PG, free medical care, and drinking water in backward regions like Palamuru,” the Chief Minister said.
He highlighted the Trust’s wide reach, serving communities in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and 140 countries globally.
