Sudheer Babu takes charge as Future City Police Commissioner

Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer Sudheer Babu officially took charge as the first Commissioner of the newly formed Future City Police Commissionerate on Tuesday evening. Vedic scholars blessed him with traditional chants during the assumption of office.

Speaking after taking charge, Commissioner Sudheer Babu said he was assuming the role in line with state government orders. He noted that the state had recently hosted a global summit to showcase Telangana’s development to the world. As part of this broader growth strategy, the government had established four new police commissionerates, including Future City.

22 stations to function under Future City limits

He said the Future City Commissionerate will function with 22 police stations under its jurisdiction. He assured that policing in the area would be driven by teamwork, efficiency, and inter-departmental coordination.

“We will fulfil our responsibilities in the state’s development journey. We aim to work closely with all departments and ensure effective law enforcement,” he said. He expressed gratitude to the state government for entrusting him with this responsibility.
