Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla extended greetings on the occasion of Sri Rama Navami and highlighted its spiritual significance. He said the festival reflects devotion and righteous living.
He noted that devotees celebrate the occasion across the country with deep faith. Moreover, the day marks the birth of Lord Sri Rama under the Punarvasu Nakshatra.
Sri Rama Navami reflects values of righteousness and devotion
The Governor said Lord Rama symbolises ideal virtues and righteousness. Therefore, he urged people to draw inspiration from his life.
He referred to the celestial Kalyana Mahotsavam of Sri Rama and Sita observed on the day. In addition, he said the ritual represents divine love and harmony.
Shukla called upon people to follow the path of dharma in their daily lives. Meanwhile, he said such values lead to a meaningful and balanced life.
He conveyed warm wishes to the people of Telangana on the festive occasion.
