Seethakka slams KTR over false campaign, accuses him of targeting her

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Seethakka launched a direct attack on BRS leader K. T. Rama Rao, warning him against spreading “false propaganda” and accusing him of personally targeting her. Addressing a press conference in Mulugu, she said, “You will be destroyed, KTR, if you continue this campaign.”

Referring to KTR’s alleged comments about her sister, she hit back saying, “My sister will bury you in dust. Watch her story.” She dismissed his tactics as “petty politics” and warned KTR he would gain nothing by provoking her. “I don’t have your caste strength, ego, or family backing. I’ve lost my only brother in the struggle,” she said.

Seethakka criticised KTR for being unable to accept her role as Minister of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, a post he previously held. She accused him of conspiring to harass a woman minister with lies and slander, stating that such attacks wouldn’t go unpunished.

She accused KTR of deliberately trying to obstruct Mulugu’s development, pointing to his electoral defeats in neighbouring constituencies. “Nobody cares for you there. Now you’ve landed here to create drama,” she said.

Questioning his integrity, Seethakka challenged him to prove whether Mulugu is under “police raj” as he claims. She cited previous cases against youth from Lakshmidevipeta and Chalvai, demanding a debate on the issue.

“You know only political theatre. You have no empathy for victims,” she said, accusing KTR of undermining the morale of the SC, ST, and BC officers, who constitute over 90% of the local police force.

She also criticised him for personally insulting the Chief Minister and lacking basic decency. “In ten years of BRS rule, you didn’t build even a thousand houses in Mulugu. Do you even have the right to talk?” she asked.
