HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister Seethakka has strongly countered the remarks made by BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), stating that his comments reflect his mental state. She criticized KTR for speaking about debts and financial matters, calling it a “big joke” given the financial burden left by the previous government.
Seethakka alleged that for ten years, KTR carried the burdens of other states, while his father, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), accepted financial burdens that ultimately led to severe economic distress in Telangana. She remarked that all those who once benefited from KCR’s financial policies are now facing difficulties.
Defending the Telangana budget, Seethakka emphasized that it is 100% realistic and designed for the welfare of women, farmers, and youth. She asserted that the current government has prioritized these sections, ensuring that the budget focuses on their upliftment and development.
Her remarks come in response to KTR’s criticism of the state budget, which he claimed was impractical and misleading. With the political atmosphere heating up, this exchange between leaders has intensified the ongoing debate over Telangana’s economic policies and governance.
