Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka on Tuesday stepped up the Congress campaign in the Jubilee Hills by-election, accusing BRS of spreading lies and unfairly branding Congress candidate Naveen Yadav a “rowdy-sheeter.”
During a padayatra in Borabanda division, Seethakka slammed the BRS for its repeated personal attacks. “Were the rowdy-sheeters during the BRS rule saints back then?” she asked, questioning the party’s moral stance.
Jubilee Hills campaign sees fierce pushback from Congress
Seethakka defended Naveen Yadav as a committed local leader. “No one can stop his win,” she said confidently. She added that voters can clearly see what BRS did in ten years versus Congress’s work in just two.
She also warned BRS leaders against calling the Congress cabinet a “Dandupalya gang.” “We won’t stay silent. We’ll strike back,” she said.
The Congress has intensified its campaign in Jubilee Hills. Ministers are now leading padayatras and door-to-door outreach in each division. They are showcasing completed development projects and countering claims made by BRS and BJP leaders.
