Bhatti launches new power substations, ₹27.76 crore underground cabling in Madira

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday launched a major upgrade of power infrastructure in Madira by laying foundation stones for several 33/11 kV substations and a ₹27.76 crore underground cabling project.

The substations will come up at Remidicharla in Errupalem mandal, Rayapatnam in Madira mandal, and Chirunomula, Brahmanapalli, and Lakshmipuram in Bonakal mandal. The new cabling work in Madira town is expected to improve power reliability and reduce outages.

Madira power infrastructure upgrade prioritizes rural supply

Bhatti said the government is focused on delivering uninterrupted electricity to rural areas. He stressed that strengthening the power sector is essential to meet growing public needs.

“This project is a critical step in developing Madira into a modern, well-equipped region,” he said. “We are working to fulfill our promises and meet the aspirations of the people.”
