Security store in-charge’s call leads to grim discovery of guard’s murder at Gachibowli site

Hyderabad: A security guard was found murdered at a construction site in Gachibowli, prompting a murder investigation by local police.

According to officials, Mr. Shaik Mastan Saheb (56), a field officer with Sri Garuda Facility Management and Security Services, received a call early Tuesday from the store in‑charge at Micron Pvt. Ltd., Anil. Anil reported that security guard Dasari Raju had been discovered lying in a pool of blood in Basement B3 of the Mauri under‑construction building near Gachibowli X‑Roads.

Arriving at the scene, Mastan Saheb found Raju dead, with visible injuries to his forehead. Investigators also noted a blood‑stained iron rod lying nearby, suggesting it may have been the weapon used in the assault.

Gachibowli Police promptly registered a murder case and secured the scene for investigation. They have begun questioning nearby workers, security staff, and reviewing CCTV footage to determine the motive and identify suspects.
