HYDERABAD: Sai Chaitanya Jadhav, a determined aspirant from Adilabad district, has secured an impressive All India Rank 68 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024, results of which were declared on Tuesday. With this, Jadhav not only fulfilled a long-cherished dream but also made Telangana proud.
Hailing from Palsibi village in Talamadugu mandal, Chaitanya said he had always hoped to make it to the top 100, but securing Rank 68 was a joyous surprise. “This was my sixth attempt. I’ve been preparing since 2019. In 2023, I was selected for the Indian Forest Service (Andhra Pradesh cadre), and I continued my preparation alongside the job,” he said.
Chaitanya comes from a humble background. His mother, Kavitha Bai, is a government school teacher, and his father, Govind Rao, works as a police constable. “From childhood, they always encouraged me to pursue education and aim high. Inspired by their dedication, I aspired to become a public servant,” he shared.
Now on the path to becoming an IAS officer, Chaitanya dreams of addressing the longstanding issues of his home district. “I want to work for the development of Adilabad. It’s my way of giving back.”
To aspirants preparing for civil services, Chaitanya’s message is one of perseverance: “Never lose confidence. Study with commitment and consistency. Success will come.”

Telangana’s Additional DGP Mahesh M Bhagwat congratulated Sai Chaitanya Jadhav and felicitated him and his father Jadhav Govindrao. He said Govindrao worked with him when he was Adilabad SP.
