Hyderabad: Two passengers died and six others suffered injuries in an RTC bus lorry crash near Nidigonda village early Sunday. The accident took place on the Warangal–Hyderabad National Highway when the bus rammed a stationary sand lorry.
Police and local residents confirmed that a Warangal depot RTC bus (TG03Z0046) collided with a parked sand lorry (TG07UK5469). The crash resulted in the deaths of Pulamati Om Prakash (75) from Dindigul and Navdeep Singh from Balasamudram, Hanamkonda. Both were declared dead at the scene.

Police rushed the injured passengers to the Janagaon Area Hospital. They also cleared the damaged vehicles to restore traffic flow on the highway.
Authorities took the RTC bus driver into custody for questioning. Preliminary reports indicated that passengers were asleep when the bus lorry crash occurred, adding to the trauma experienced by victims’ families.
