RSS chief Bhagwat remarks claim world would collapse without Hindus

Hyderabad: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said the world would collapse without Hindus, stressing that the community anchored global order during a public meeting in Manipur. He delivered these remarks while touring the state after the recent ethnic unrest.

Bhagwat noted that civilisations such as Greece, Egypt and Rome had vanished over time. India’s civilisation, he said, endured despite repeated challenges. He added that a distinct strength in the country’s cultural roots kept it alive. The Hindu community remained “immortal,” he said, because of that depth.

He said Bharat stood for an everlasting civilisation and described Hindus as protectors of global dharma. Social systems shaped by the community, he added, secured its continuity. Bhagwat warned that the world would face its end without Hindus. His visit marked his first tour of Manipur since ethnic violence broke out last year.

Bhagwat pointed to cultural networks shaped over generations. Those foundations, he said, helped society remain steady. He also linked global balance to the survival of the Hindu community. His comments placed renewed focus on India’s civilisational identity as the region continues to navigate tension.
