Hyderabad: A man with a police history was found murdered at an isolated location near Dev Isthana Homes in Kukatpally. Police suspect long-standing personal enmity behind the killing.
The victim, Syed Shahed of Borabanda, was the son of Wahed Pahelwan. A rowdy sheet was open against him at the Allapur police station.
Preliminary investigation suggests that Shahed was attacked with a knife following an altercation with known persons. He died on the spot.
Kukatpally police reached the scene after receiving information and launched an investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed to identify the attackers.
The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. Inquiry is ongoing.
