Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inspects site near Necklace Road for Jyotirao Phule statue

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy inspected a site near Necklace Road, close to IMAX, proposed for the installation of a statue of social reformer Mahatma Jyotirao Phule.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, several MLAs, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, BC community leader Jajula Srinivas Goud, and other dignitaries accompanied the Chief Minister during the inspection.

The Chief Minister directed officials to conduct a thorough site survey and submit a detailed report with a comprehensive plan. He emphasised the need for a design that prevents any traffic-related issues in the future and instructed officials to plan accordingly.

Tributes on Jyotirao Phule Jayanti

On the occasion of Jyotirao Phule Jayanti, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also paid floral tributes to the reformer’s statue at Amberpet.

TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Chief Minister’s advisor Vem Narender Reddy, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MPs V. Hanumantha Rao and Anjan Kumar Yadav, several MLAs and MLCs, GHMC Mayor Vijayalakshmi, and constituency in-charge Rohin Reddy were present and also offered their respects.
