Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Indian Grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa for winning the prestigious Norway Chess title in Oslo.
Praggnanandhaa secured the championship with 18 points and finished ahead of some of the world’s leading chess players.
The Chief Minister described the achievement as a matter of pride for the country.
He said Praggnanandhaa created history by becoming the first Indian to win the prestigious tournament.
