Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday laid the foundation stone for ₹151.92 crore worth of Makthal development works covering Atmakur mandal and Amarachinta municipalities in Wanaparthy district.
In Atmakur municipality, the Chief Minister launched infrastructure and other development initiatives valued at ₹15 crore. He also initiated construction of a high-level bridge beneath the Priyadarshi Jurala Project dam, with an estimated cost of ₹121.92 crore.
In Amarachinta municipality, Revanth Reddy started additional development projects worth ₹15 crore.
Makthal development works include new bridge under Jurala project
The high-level bridge under the Priyadarshi Jurala dam is the single largest component of the Makthal development works package. The initiative is part of the government’s broader push to strengthen rural infrastructure across Telangana.
