Ramchander Rao custody amid Banswada communal tension
Earlier, Ramchander Rao told mediapersons that he intended to visit Kamareddy district. He said the purpose was to express solidarity with BJP MLA K. Venkata Ramana Reddy. He alleged that the MLA was attacked during the unrest.
Moreover, he claimed that around 100 BJP workers were arrested in Banswada during a bandh called by Hindu organisations. The town witnessed a communal clash on Friday. As a result, tension escalated across the district.
