Rachakonda police extern rowdy-sheeter for repeated offences

Rachakonda Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu reviewed the evidence submitted by the Adibatla SHO. After verification, he issued an externment order on September 9 under Section 26(1) of the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

Police said Naveen Reddy committed offences like assault, attempt to murder, and criminal intimidation. Moreover, his actions disturbed public peace and safety.

The Commissioner, through Ibrahimpatnam ACP, ordered Naveen Reddy to explain within seven days why he should not face externment. However, despite receiving the notice, he gave no reply within 15 days.

Naveen Reddy was banished for six months to maintain peace

Police noted that Naveen Reddy often threatened residents and spread fear in the locality. Therefore, most locals avoided filing complaints or testifying against him.

Consequently, authorities decided to remove him from the Rachakonda Commissionerate limits for six months starting Tuesday. Officials added that the move will help restore peace and prevent further criminal activity.
