Hyderabad: With New Year celebrations a week away, Rachakonda police launched a late-night special operation in the Balapur area to prevent violations and ensure safety.
During the drive, Rachakonda police teams inspected hotels and cricket grounds across Balapur. Officers focused on stopping unauthorised night-time activities as private events increased ahead of New Year.
Police warned organisers not to conduct games or gatherings during late hours. They clearly told them that violations would invite strict action during the festive period.

Rachakonda police also warned hotel owners against allowing or encouraging anti-social activities. Officials told them that police would maintain close surveillance until New Year.
Meanwhile, police personnel counselled youths found roaming on roads late at night. They advised them to behave responsibly and cooperate with authorities to avoid incidents.
The drive formed part of preventive steps across the Rachakonda commissionerate to maintain law and order during New Year celebrations.
