Hyderabad: Actor Prakash Raj said theft remained a crime in all circumstances, reacting strongly to the iBOMMA piracy case involving the arrest of Immedi Ravi.

Police earlier took Ravi into custody for allegedly streaming pirated films through the iBOMMA website. He is currently lodged in jail in connection with the case. Authorities booked him under multiple sections related to film piracy and promotion of betting applications.

Despite the illegal streaming, many viewers accessed movies for free through the website. On social media, several users praised Ravi, citing rising movie ticket prices. Some even projected him as a “hero” for making films freely available.
