Asaduddin Owaisi rides through Old City, joins Republic Day flag-hoisting events

Hyderabad: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi marked Republic Day celebrations by riding a motorcycle through the Old City and participating in flag-hoisting programmes at multiple locations on Monday.

As part of the celebrations, Owaisi unfurled the national flag at Madina Circle near Charminar. He later proceeded to Jamiatul Mominath, where he hoisted the tricolour and interacted with students.

At Jamiatul Mominath, students, including burqa-clad girls, sang the national anthem, adding a ceremonial touch to the programme. Party leaders and local residents attended the events held in the Old City areas.

Owaisi joins Republic Day events across Old City on motorcycle

Officials said the MP chose to travel by bike to personally attend flag-hoisting ceremonies at different locations. Supporters gathered along the route as he moved through key Old City neighbourhoods to take part in the celebrations.

The Republic Day programmes coincided with nationwide observances marking the adoption of the Constitution of India. Similar events were held across Hyderabad, with public representatives and citizens participating in flag hoisting and cultural activities.
