Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) will halt water supply in several areas of the city for 36 hours. The disruption will begin at 6 a.m. on December 27 and end at 6 p.m. on December 28 due to urgent repair works.
The Chief General Manager of HMWSSB stated that the maintenance activities are part of a scheduled plan to upgrade the city’s water supply system.
Key areas affected by the shutdown
Water supply will stop in the following localities:
Miralam, Kishanbagh, Balshettiketu, Mogalpura, Falaknuma, Bahadurpura, Jahanuma, Mahbub Mansion, Santosh Nagar, Vinay Nagar, Saidabad, Chanchalguda, Asmangadh, Yakutpura, Boggulkunta, Narayanaguda, Adikmet, Shivam, Chilkalguda, Aliabad, Riyasathnagar, Dilsukhnagar, and Bogulur.
HMWSSB advised residents in these areas to store enough water in advance and make necessary preparations to manage during the supply break.
