Moinabad farmhouse drugs case: Court grants custody of Rohit Reddy, others

Hyderabad: A city court granted three-day police custody of former MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy and two others in the Moinabad farmhouse drugs case, enabling investigators to intensify the probe into the alleged network.

The court allowed police custody of Rohit Reddy, his brother Ritesh Reddy, and businessman Namit Sharma. All three were in judicial remand at Chanchalguda Jail before the order.

Following the decision, authorities planned to shift the accused to an undisclosed location. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) will conduct intensive questioning during this period.

Officials said the Moinabad farmhouse drugs case required deeper interrogation to trace suppliers and identify the wider network. They believe custodial questioning may reveal key links and masterminds.
