Miss World contestants to tour Telangana’s Command Centre and Sunday Fun Day

Hyderabad: The Miss World contestants in town for the global pageant will tour Telangana’s high-tech police Command and Control Centre this Sunday, diving into the state’s smart security systems aimed at making tourism safer and more welcoming.

The visit is set to highlight Telangana’s integrated safety measures from surveillance tech to tourist-focused protection strategies. Officials will brief the delegates on the digital infrastructure, real-time monitoring capabilities, and public safety protocols that position Telangana as a model for secure travel.

Post-briefing, the beauty queens are scheduled to visit the state Secretariat where they’ll witness a 3D projection mapping show detailing Telangana’s development journey, cultural legacy and historic milestones all presented through immersive visuals.

The day will wrap with a splash of colour at Tank Bund, where the contestants will join the “Sunday Fun Day” fair organised by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA). The evening promises music, dance, food stalls and local entertainment offering both locals and global guests a lively taste of Hyderabad.

The presence of international pageant stars is expected to boost the fair’s appeal and showcase Telangana’s hospitality and cultural blend on a global stage. More than just entertainment, the event serves as a strategic move to promote Telangana’s tourism identity worldwide.
