HYDERABAD: Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka has called on the Mission Bhagiratha staff to remain vigilant and proactive in their duties to ensure uninterrupted water supply across the state. During a review meeting, the minister emphasized the importance of maintaining quality service and addressing public grievances without delay.
Seethakka expressed concerns over complaints regarding irregular water supply in certain areas. She instructed the officials to promptly identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring that drinking water reaches every household. The minister stressed the need for round-the-clock monitoring of water distribution systems to prevent disruptions.
She also directed the staff to be accessible to the public and respond swiftly to complaints. Seethakka warned that negligence or laxity in handling water supply operations would not be tolerated, urging the officials to prioritize efficiency and public welfare.
Highlighting the significance of Mission Bhagiratha, she noted that the project plays a vital role in providing safe drinking water to rural and urban areas alike.
