Minister Jupally conducts surprise check at Tourism Plaza Hotel, flags hygiene and food quality

Hyderabad: Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection at the Haritha Tourism Plaza Hotel in Begumpet, directing officials to enforce hygiene norms and maintain mandatory food quality standards.

The minister visited the kitchen and reviewed food storage conditions. He also interacted with guests and tourists during breakfast service, inquiring about the taste and quality of the food being served.

Speaking after the inspection, Jupally said regular checks would continue at Haritha Hotels to ensure facilities and food standards are being maintained. He warned of strict action against any violations of rules.

He said hotel managements are responsible for providing safe and quality food to customers, and added that the government is focusing on improving both revenue and guest experience across tourism facilities.

He also said that efforts were underway to enhance amenities at Haritha Hotels to ensure a pleasant environment for visitors.
