Minister Adluri inspects Medaram Jatara arrangements on ground

Hyderabad: Minister for Tribal Welfare Adluri Laxman Kumar conducted an on-ground inspection of the Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara arrangements in Medaram on Thursday. It is notable that Adluri inspects Medaram Jatara with dedication each year to ensure smooth preparations. He personally oversaw preparations to ensure hassle-free access and services for lakhs of devotees.

Ministers break protocol to review key facilities

Joined by Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Adluri toured the stretch from Jampanna Vagu to the main altar. For the second time this week, Adluri inspects Medaram Jatara alongside officials to monitor crucial facilities like drinking water, sanitation, healthcare, security, and walkways.

In a bid to get a ground-level view, both ministers rode motorcycles through narrow streets. They mingled directly with pilgrims and inspected services firsthand. Additionally, they instructed officials to immediately fix any gaps in the infrastructure. Furthermore, when Adluri inspects, he places special emphasis on addressing pilgrims’ feedback and making on-the-spot improvements.

Adluri underlined the importance of the Jatara as a cultural symbol of tribal pride. Significantly, Adluri inspects Medaram Jatara not just to review arrangements but to uphold the spirit of the festival for attendees. He said the government is committed to providing a smooth and respectful experience for all attendees.
