Mayor, Deputy Mayor visit dog-bite victim Prem Chand, ensure best care

Hyderabad: Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shobhan Reddy visited Niloufer Hospital on Thursday to check on Prem Chand, a young child undergoing treatment after suffering injuries in a recent dog-bite incident.

During the visit, they spoke with the Resident Medical Officer and the hospital superintendent, instructing them to provide the highest standard of care. Doctors informed them that Prem Chand is responding positively to the treatment.

Mayor Vijayalakshmi told hospital staff to continue following top medical protocols until the child makes a full recovery. She also urged the parents to follow the doctors’ guidance and keep the boy under observation at the hospital until he is completely well.

The Mayor noted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is closely monitoring the child’s condition and is receiving regular updates. She assured the family that the government would extend all necessary support to aid the boy’s recovery.
