Man dies under suspicious circumstances at Dommata Wines

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man died under suspicious circumstances while consuming alcohol at the permit room of Dommata Wines in Siddipet district on Friday evening. The deceased, Aravind Reddy, was a resident of Dommata village and the son of Rajalingari Ramreddy.

According to initial reports, the exact cause of Aravind Reddy’s death remains unclear. As the CCTV cameras at the establishment were non-functional, officials have been unable to determine who accompanied him or the sequence of events leading to his death.

After receiving information, Toguta Circle Inspector Latif and Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar reached the spot and inspected the premises. They confirmed that the malfunctioning CCTV system had failed to capture any relevant footage.

Aravind Reddy’s body was shifted to Gajwel Government Hospital for a postmortem. However, his family initially resisted the procedure. They relented only after CI Latif assured them of a fair investigation.

The incident has deeply disturbed the local community. The grieving reactions of Aravind Reddy’s wife, son, and daughter have left the village in mourning. Authorities stated that the full circumstances surrounding his death will become clear only after the postmortem and further inquiry.
