Mahesh Kumar Goud hits back at Kavitha over criticism of Rahul Gandhi’s Hyderabad visit

HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud strongly responded to BRS MLC Kavitha’s criticism of Rahul Gandhi’s Hyderabad visit, accusing her of lacking any moral authority to comment on the Congress leader.

Kavitha had earlier described Rahul Gandhi’s visit as that of an “election-time Gandhi” and accused him of making false promises. In response, Mahesh Kumar Goud labelled Kavitha a “mega rowdy” and said she should apologise to the public for the irregularities and corruption during her father’s tenure.

He alleged that Kavitha had lost public trust by being involved in the liquor business and was now trying to divert attention from her failures by attacking Rahul Gandhi.

Mahesh Kumar Goud reiterated that the Congress party is dedicated to serving the people of Telangana and that Rahul Gandhi’s visit was part of these ongoing efforts. He accused the BRS and its leaders of attempting to mislead the public, whereas the Congress remains committed to fulfilling its promises and driving the state’s development.

He appealed to the people to be cautious of BRS’s negative politics and to support the Congress party in working towards the progress of Telangana. Mahesh Kumar Goud expressed confidence that the Congress would secure victory with public support in the upcoming elections and lead the state towards a new direction.
