Mahesh Kumar Goud attends Nizamabad budget meet, pushes civic development

Hyderabad: TPCC president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the Nizamabad budget meeting for the 2026–27 financial year and issued key directions on civic development. The Nizamabad budget discussions focused on infrastructure expansion and public welfare implementation.

He reviewed proposals related to urban development and emphasised the need for efficient execution. Moreover, he directed officials to prioritise essential civic services.

Mahesh Kumar Goud asked officials to improve roads, drainage, drinking water supply, and street lighting. In addition, he stressed the need to enhance service delivery mechanisms for citizens.

He said authorities must ensure equal focus on all wards. Meanwhile, he called for faster implementation of government schemes at the city level.

He said effective execution of development programmes will drive the city forward. Furthermore, he reiterated that the government remains committed to public welfare.

Mahesh Kumar Goud urged officials to utilise funds efficiently and maintain transparency in works. Consequently, he said proper planning and monitoring are essential for sustainable urban growth.
