Hyderabad: TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud urged leaders undergoing the DCC training programme to intensify party activities in their respective districts and deepen engagement with the public.

He said coordination, discipline and a spirit of service would strengthen the Congress organisation. Moreover, he stressed that consistent grassroots work would expand the party’s reach.

Mahesh Kumar Goud addressed the second day of the AP and Telangana DCC presidents’ camp at Ananthagiri in Vikarabad. Telangana Jana Samithi president Kodandaram also participated in the session.

DCC training programme focuses on grassroots expansion

Leaders received briefings on current political developments and response strategies to public issues. In addition, they reviewed mechanisms to implement party policies effectively at the district level.

Further, discussions centred on strengthening booth committees and improving coordination among cadres. Consequently, organisers emphasised structured outreach and accountability at every level.

The ten-day programme includes modules on leadership development and election planning. Experts are also guiding district chiefs on media engagement and social media management.

Meanwhile, participants are learning to prepare action plans and execute field programmes efficiently. Therefore, party leaders said the DCC training programme would equip district units to expand the organisation systematically and sustainably.
