Hyderabad: BRS working president K Tarakarama Rao has set off on a multi-nation tour to the UK and the US, where he is scheduled to participate in a series of high-profile events spotlighting Telangana’s growth story and party milestones.
KTR will first travel to the UK, where he is slated to deliver a keynote address at the India Week 2025 event in London on May 30. Organised by Bridge India, the event will bring together influential figures from across politics, business, and academia. KTR is expected to showcase Telangana’s developmental strides and innovations under BRS rule, offering insights into nine years of governance.
During the same visit, he will inaugurate the Pragmatic Design Solutions Limited (PDSL) Knowledge Centre in Warwick. The centre, which caters to major automotive giants like McLaren, Aston Martin, and Jaguar Land Rover, houses an advanced near-shore hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing facility for R&D operations. Telangana-origin technology is at the heart of this venture.
KTR’s itinerary continues in the US, where he will attend Telangana formation day celebrations and BRS party’s 25th anniversary event on June 1 at the Comerica Centre in Frisco, Texas. Thousands of NRI supporters, many of whom played a vital role in the Telangana statehood movement, are expected to join.
On June 2, he will interact with Indian students at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), addressing themes of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the youth’s role in building India’s future.
The visit has generated palpable excitement among NRIs, entrepreneurs, and students across both nations. KTR will also meet policymakers, academics, and Indian diaspora groups during his trip.
Accompanying him from Hyderabad were former minister Koppula Eshwar, ex-Ramagundam MLA Korukanti Chander, former Police Housing Corporation chairman Koleti Damodar, and former Peddapalli Library chairman Raghuveer Singh.
