HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has issued a strong call to party members, urging them to organize statewide protests on Friday in response to the suspension of MLA Jagadish Reddy from the Telangana Assembly. KTR, addressing supporters at the Ambedkar statue near Tank Bund, condemned the suspension as unjust and accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of attempting to suppress their voices from Delhi. He challenged the government to release any videos proving misconduct by their members in the assembly, asserting that if any wrongdoing is found, they are prepared to express regret. KTR criticized the unilateral decision to suspend Jagadish Reddy, alleging that statements were misrepresented. He called on BRS members to protest across the state on Friday to express their dissent against the government’s stance.
Earlier, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar officially announced the suspension of Jagadish Reddy for the remainder of the budget session, effective immediately.
