KTR accuses Rahul Gandhi of complicity in BRS MLA defections

Hyderabad: BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over BRS MLA defections. He posted a sharp message on social media platform X and shared a photo of defected legislators.

KTR asked Rahul Gandhi if he could recognise the Congress scarf worn by those leaders. He reminded Rahul that the same MLAs met him in Delhi after crossing over. The BRS leader also challenged Rahul to respond to their claim that they had not switched parties.

KTR accuses Congress of encouraging defections

KTR said the defected legislators now insist the scarf did not belong to Congress. He rejected those claims and demanded that Rahul clarify his position.

He described the act as “MLA chori” and compared it with “vote chori.” KTR ended his post by accusing Rahul Gandhi of complicity in political theft and asked, “Aren’t you ashamed?”
