KTR mourns Gujarat plane crash, urges swift aid for victims

Hyderabad: BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao expressed anguish on Thursday over the devastating Gujarat plane crash that claimed several lives and left many injured. The incident, involving a London-bound flight from Ahmedabad, turned deadly after the aircraft crashed into a residential neighbourhood, killing passengers, medics, and locals.

Describing the tragedy as “deeply heartbreaking”, KTR extended his heartfelt condolences to the families grappling with the sudden loss of their loved ones. “The scale of this disaster is gut-wrenching innocent lives, including medical professionals and residents, have been cut short in a matter of moments,” he said.

He urged both the Central and Gujarat State Governments to act swiftly in ensuring top-tier medical assistance for those injured in the crash. “It’s crucial that every survivor receives the best possible care without delay,” he added, emphasising the urgency of coordinated relief efforts.

KTR concluded by praying for the departed souls and wishing strength to the bereaved families facing what he called an “unimaginable sorrow.”
