Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao took a swipe at the BJP-led central government, ridiculing what he described as poorly executed infrastructure projects in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Posting on social media platform X, he referred to the structures as “Engineering Marvels” with evident sarcasm.
“Two more amazing Engineering Marvels from Double Engine BJP Sarkar. And these guys talk about a minor issue in Irrigation projects in Telangana. What a shame,” KTR posted, attaching images of a damaged clock tower in Uttar Pradesh and a problematic railway overbridge in Bihar.
His comments land in the middle of an ongoing tug-of-war between the BRS and BJP over Telangana’s high-profile Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project. The BJP has hammered the initiative with allegations of structural flaws and corruption, while KTR and fellow BRS leaders have brushed off the charges, painting them as little more than political potshots.
