KTR hails BRS resilience as newly elected Sarpanches meet in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday congratulated newly elected Sarpanches, describing their victories as a testament to the party’s grassroots strength and public support. KTR hails the resilience of the BRS in maintaining strong connections with the community.

Meeting hundreds of Sarpanches at his Nandi Nagar residence in Hyderabad, KTR claimed the results showed public resistance to what he called the “misuse of power and police interference” by the ruling Congress. He highlighted the party’s wins even in Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s home constituency of Kodangal as a key indicator of shifting political sentiment.

Plans district-wise outreach over 10 days

KTR announced that he would hold district-level meetings with elected Sarpanches over the next ten days. During these sessions, he plans to felicitate winners and outline party strategies for the coming months.

He said the strong showing of BRS-backed candidates reflected the party’s enduring grassroots support, despite being out of power.
