Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has decided to curtail his US tour and return to Hyderabad tonight to personally stand by the family of Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath, whose health condition has reportedly turned critical.
From the US, KTR dialled Gopinath’s family members and senior doctors at AIG Hospital, seeking updates on the MLA’s condition. Medical teams updated him on the ICU treatment, making it clear that Gopinath was getting the best care possible and had a decent chance of pulling through.
KTR, visibly worried about Gopinath’s health, asked detailed questions about the treatment and assured the family that the party was fully backing them.“We’re all hoping for Gopinath garu’s speedy recovery,” he said.
Acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, KTR decided to cut short his US engagements and fly back to Hyderabad tonight. He will personally oversee support arrangements for Gopinath’s family and continue to monitor the medical care being given.
Doctors at AIG Hospital informed KTR that the MLA’s treatment was progressing under close supervision, with cautious optimism about his recovery.
