Hyderabad: BRS president K T Rama Rao on Saturday accused BJP MP CM Ramesh of orchestrating the mortgage of lands in Gachibowli and colluding in contract deals with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
KTR alleged that Revanth awarded ₹1,600 crore in road contracts in Future City to CM Ramesh in return for supporting the mortgage deal. He called it a corrupt nexus between the BJP and Congress. He asked why the Central Empowerment Committee report had seen no action by BJP to date.
Responding swiftly, CM Ramesh warned KTR to stop making false claims. He insisted that the “Ruthvik company” alone won the tender for road works in Future City after the standard bidding process. He denied involvement in any bids for Gachibowli plots.
Ramesh recalled visits by BRS leaders to his Delhi residence, claiming Kavitha and others sought his help to stall probes. He questioned whether KTR had proposed merging BRS with BJP in exchange for halting investigations. The BJP apparently rejected this merger attempt.
Ramesh accused KTR of fabricating allegations. He challenged KTR, saying, “I know everything you did during your decade in power.” He said he will share documentary proof with investigative agencies such as the CBI and ED if necessary.
