Hyderabad: The Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) has decided not to recover previously disbursed special incentives from its serving engineers and employees. The resolution was passed during the Board’s 20th special meeting, chaired by Atul Jain, held on Friday at Jalasoudha.
Officials from both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh attended the meeting in virtual mode.
The meeting primarily reviewed the status of special incentives extended earlier to KRMB personnel. It also took up recent guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti and directions passed by the respective High Courts.
After deliberation, members agreed that no further incentives would be granted. However, it was also resolved that no recovery action would be initiated against employees who had already received the payments.
