Hyderabad: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy on Saturday described Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao as the “real bad brothers” of Telangana politics. He said Revanth Reddy had launched baseless attacks against the BJP out of fear of losing the Jubilee Hills by-election.
Speaking at the BJP state office, Kishan Reddy said the Congress government had failed to deliver on its election promises. Instead of focusing on governance, it was attacking opponents to divert public attention.
He dismissed claims that the BJP and BRS had joined hands. He alleged that Congress and BRS had struck a covert deal at the national level.
Kishan Reddy says Congress failed on issues, BJP ready for open debate
Kishan Reddy questioned Revanth Reddy’s inaction on issues raised during the Assembly polls. He pointed to pending investigations into phone tapping, electricity purchases, and land scams.
He also criticised the delay in implementing the six guarantees promised by Congress. According to him, both BRS and Congress had become “fake, fraud and failed parties.”
He accused Congress of using doctored videos in past elections. The party was now repeating the tactic in Jubilee Hills, he claimed.
Kishan Reddy defended the Centre’s role in Telangana’s development. He said the Modi government had cleared the Regional Ring Road (RRR) project. He challenged both Revanth Reddy and KCR to a public debate on Central assistance.
