Revenue officials prepare to survey KCR farmhouse lands in Erravalli

Hyderabad: Revenue officials stepped up preparations for the KCR farmhouse land survey in Erravalli village, Wargal mandal. The village falls in Siddipet district. Officials planned to check the farmhouse boundaries and nearby land records.

They were preparing to examine the land using survey numbers. They also completed arrangements to issue advance notices to local farmers. In addition, officials may personally serve a survey notice on former Chief Minister and BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao by Friday evening, according to information available.

The exercise aims to verify the farmhouse boundaries and the extent recorded in official documents. Officials will also compare those records with the actual position on the ground. These preparations have drawn attention in the Wargal area.

KCR farmhouse land survey focuses on allegations over survey number 325

The main allegation concerns land in survey number 325. Poor farmers from Scheduled Caste and Backward Class communities had reportedly cultivated parts of this land for decades. The allegation also involves government land.

According to the allegations, officials altered Dharani records and used the land for farmhouse expansion and an access road. The state revenue department and a special inquiry committee have taken up the matter.

They were preparing to compare Google Earth satellite images with old pahani records. They would also examine current land documents before conducting the survey. The exercise aims to establish the boundaries and verify the recorded land extent.
