Jeevan Reddy accuses government of misleading farmers with fake Rythu Bharosa messages

Hyderabad: BRS secretary and former minister Jeevan Reddy criticised the government over fake Rythu Bharosa messages that claimed funds had reached farmers’ bank accounts. He said the messages had caused confusion among farmers.

Speaking at a press conference in Jagtial, Jeevan Reddy said several farmers visited banks after receiving alerts about the supposed deposits. However, bank enquiries revealed that the messages were fake, he said.

He accused the government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of running a fake administration. He also described the messages about Rythu Bharosa payments as false.
