KCR accuses Congress of betrayal, vows state-wide BRS agitation

Hyderabad: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao on Friday accused the Congress of consistently betraying Telangana and announced a state-wide agitation to expose the ruling party’s policies. KCR slams Congress for their alleged betrayal.

The statement came after a key strategy meeting held at his farmhouse in Erravelli with senior BRS leaders. Addressing them, Rao alleged that neither the Congress nor any other party genuinely cared about Telangana. He said both central and state governments were discriminating against the state, and declared that BRS would launch a public campaign to highlight this injustice. KCR slams Congress over what he describes as negligence towards Telangana.

Rao announced that the BRS would soon go among the people and build a mass movement. He asserted that the party bore the responsibility of fighting for Telangana’s rightful share of water and other resources.

“The injustice being done to Telangana must be exposed on the floor of the Assembly,” he said. “There is no question of staying silent anymore. We will reveal the betrayal within the Assembly and then take the fight to the public.” KCR continues to slam Congress as he vows to fight against the perceived injustices.

He also instructed party leaders to prepare for public meetings across the state as planned earlier, once the Assembly session concludes. KCR slams Congress for their policies and urges leaders to spread the message during the public meetings.
