Kavitha questions Revanth Reddy over job calendar claims

Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha questioned Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over his job calendar promises during his visit to Osmania University. She said in a social media post that the government failed to meet the expectations it created. According to her, Revanth Reddy reached power by assuring unemployed youth that a clear job calendar would guide recruitment.

She then asked how many notifications the government issued in two years. In addition, she sought details on how many posts were actually filled. Kavitha also demanded clarity on the two lakh jobs promised for the first year. Moreover, she argued that the administration misled unemployed youth with an empty calendar and still entered the Osmania University campus without fulfilling core commitments.

Kavitha described the campus as the birthplace of many struggles. However, she said the Chief Minister must explain what he achieved for distressed unemployed youth. She further argued that the era of hollow promises had ended. In her view, “jobless calendars” no longer convinced young people. Consequently, she insisted that the government provide clear answers on its employment plans. She added that such clarity should come from the Osmania University grounds rather than, as she put it, promotional claims under the Rising programme.

Since leaving the BRS, Kavitha has questioned both the previous BRS government and the current Congress administration. Meanwhile, her posts and media briefings kept her in public focus. The Jagruthi Janambata programme also helped her reach more people.
