Jupally Krishna Rao campaigns for Congress candidate in Kollapur

Hyderabad: Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Tuesday campaigned in support of the Congress candidate in Kollapur municipality and appealed to voters to ensure a clean sweep for the party in the civic polls.

The Minister took part in door-to-door campaigning in Ward No. 1 of Kollapur, backing Congress candidate Pasula Sujatha. During the campaign, he explained the development works and welfare schemes being implemented by the State government to local residents.

He urged voters to elect Congress candidates with a huge majority. He said the party would transform Kollapur into an ideal municipality if people gave it a clear mandate.

Kollapur Congress campaign targets BRS rule

Jupally Krishna Rao said Congress candidates would win in all 19 wards of Kollapur municipality. He said people were well aware of the administration during the Bharat Rashtra Samithi regime.

He alleged that residents had not forgotten issues such as encroachments, intimidation, and corruption during the previous rule. According to him, the BRS realised its defeat in the municipal elections and therefore deployed a money-backed leader as the party’s municipal election in-charge.

The Minister alleged that attempts were underway to influence voters using money. He cautioned residents to remain vigilant and give a fitting response through the ballot.
